Back Massage

“Nothing is quite as rejuvenating for someone needing a break from their everyday life than a massage.”

Massage therapy has a long history in cultures around the world. Today, people use many different types of massage therapy for a variety of health-related purposes.

Massage therapies

Massage works in various ways:

  • It relaxes and refreshes tired or knotted muscles

  • It increases blood circulation

  • It stimulates deep circulation, both of blood and lymph which helps your body to heal, and generally work more efficiently

  • It encourages your body to produce endorphins - the natural chemicals in your body that make you feel happy.

There is nothing that can compare to the power of touch. At Tri Beauty we offer massages using a range of techniques of both hand and instrument to help relieve stress, tension and muscle damage. Massage can be extremely stimulating for both body, mind and soul so it is important you choose the right massage for you.

Hot Stone- Benefits are eases muscle tension and stiffness, increases circulation and metabolism, encourages blood flow throughout the body.

Elemis Deep Tissue- a deep rhythmic pressure massage which alleviates stress, eases aching muscles and powerful and customised, leaves you feeling revived. Dynamic blends of essential oils are used to target your individual needs and reduce specific stress and muscle tension.

The massage:

  • Consultation - The therapist will start with a consultation about your current health and any areas where you may be experiencing discomfort.

  • Left to undress - All massages require skin to skin contact. The therapist will leave the room to allow you to undress. You will cover yourself with a towel and when you are ready, the therapist will re-enter the room to start the massage. Only exposing the area that they are working on, using a technique known as draping, the therapist will start the massage targeting all the major muscle groups.

  • Right for you - You can request more work on a specific area that you are experiencing trouble with, as well as requesting a lighter or heavier touch. However please note that every therapist is different and you should specify at the time of booking if you prefer a firm massage.
